Take a deep breath and feast your eyes on this little beauty …
No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you … this is a $10,000,000 (ten million dollar) note. I think it was introduced in mid January and for a short time has made the amount of notes we have had to carry around a lot smaller. The following note is very confusing to use, and I have to admit I really dislike using it.
The other day when I went to the shops my self confidence was boosted when multiple shop tellers took their time in counting and re-counting out the $750,000 notes. Sure a simple $3,000,000 transaction is easy (4 x $750,000), but it is when you get a figure like $11,650,500 that things get a little more tricky.
